Such batteries hold more charge and thus last much longer. However, these batteries are much more expensive too.

You will also need to look at what sort of motor you want. Most electric dirt bikes will range anywhere from 300 to 700 watts. The most common size if about 500 watts. Most of these motors can carry a person who is about 175lbs. There are more powerful motor out there as well, however.

Always opt to wear safety gear when riding an electric dirt bike – goggles, helmets, and knee pads are a must.
